I don't know if he's a "sicko" but the guy does have issues.  I think it all stems to a form of depression.  It kind of reminds me of when child stars don't achieve success after puberty.  I think that part of his problem is the fact that he isn't enjoying the success that he had in the mid to late 80s.  It is the rare artist that was popular in a different era that puts out music today that people want to hear.  The younger crowd doesn't embrace it and the older crowd just wants to hear the old stuff.  Look how many artists from the 70s and 80s that put out albums today that barely make a splash on the charts.  U2 is probably the exception to the rule. 

I think that's also part of Michael Jackson's downward spiral.  If these guys would tour and do their old music to the crowd that made them famous, they would enjoy the degree of success that they did back in their heyday.  They would probably pick up some new, younger fans along the way.  There are a lot of artists doing that and are very successful.  True, the sold-out stadiums would now be arenas, but I think people would love to see some of those artists do what they did best!

However, George Michael's music is fairly bad, overall. I dislike Wham!, the song "Father Figure" sort of irritates me, and I think "Faith" is his only great song. Michael Jackson, I find it very hard to dislike, since he has produced some great music.
