It's all gone to the dogs since Matthew Corbett left. His humour was very deadpan - I miss his shows.  :\'(

Rainbow has got no chance of a return to the old format either now Geoffrey Hayes has auctioned off the puppets. He reminded me of my dad in such a big way and I always told him. He would follow up with an impression. ;D

Matthew Corbett was wonderful, that I agree with. I've got some old (and by old, I mean 1993-4) episodes of the show... back when all they did was roll around in their camper van.

Plus, now they've got in some new characters, the indeterminably accented Miki (I believe she's a Brazilian cat of some kind), and Butch the (frightfully scary) canine.

Pity that Rainbow never came back after its glory days pre-93. I remember some of the old episodes as if I watched them yesterday. It tried to re-embirthen itself as Rainbow Days, but that never got off the ground.

Good times, happy memories, alas, downward sloping hills.. :(

Plus, now they've got in some new characters, the indeterminably accented Miki (I believe she's a Brazilian cat of some kind), and Butch the (frightfully scary) canine.
