Here's one for me that I almost did.  So Dude111 started a thread called "oldies anyone?" where he linked radio stations that play 50s through 70s music.  He's always linking stuff, so as a gag, I thought up a phoney website and thus started to post a link to grannies gone wild dot com and mention how this site has oldies in their 60s through their 80s.  Just to be on the safe side, I tested that address and it actually exists.  Naturally I didn't post it, but I saw things I can never unsee :\'( ;D

Remember when I had those characters in my username that messed up the forum?  I forget what the character was, but when I put it in my screen name, it shifted the format of the boards one space to the left on pages with my name visible, mostly via topics I started

And by putting that character in my screen name, when I'd go into my profile, it was nothing but a blank screen.  It took me about a half hour until I accidentally viewed a favourites page in my history folder that allowed me to get into my profile and fix my name ;D

That was in early September 2005...but I missed it. I just know that in one of the Penguin News threads about censored words, so many folks had been noticing/complaining that everytime someone posted a word with that substring, it would show up like that...and there are tons of words in the English language with the "ass" substring! That was ridiculous.

Who, Rubixgirl? Yeah...but her account was last active on 15 August 2006...two years ago today! :o :o I have no idea what happened to her. We even tried to get her to notice the McHammerpants thread, but our attempts to do so failed. :(

Actually, we didn't have other people's profiles...just altered usernames. For example, Tia was "Tamera", and Quirk was "Quark", Mr. Mister was "Twisted Sister"...and bookmistress4ever's alias was changed to something wacky like "catmisstress4eva!" My alias, surprisingly, just had all of its letters changed to capitals, with a couple exclamation marks on the end.


What do you think the mods should have changed it to then?


I dunno...maybe something like "nilly-nally"? :D


Well, whatever. I'm sure it would have been funny regardless of what it was changed to.

Now that I think about it, I suppose they could have leeted it, like N411Y, sorta like they did with other members (for example, Bobby was 8008Y and Gis was 9!$ (I think)).
