Some trivia: In the long running 80s animated series "Muppet Babies", Animal was voiced by Howie Mandel in the first (1984-85) season, then by Dave Coulier from 1985 until it's end in 1991

Actually when I wrote this Kermit was on the list. The "other" thing must have bumped him off. There is too many to mention. ;D

I don't know. I have always thought that show was geared more towards adults than children. I'm sure kids didn't get half the jokes (like Rocky & Bullwinkle).

Personally, I think the Muppets are timeless. I'm sure everyone has a friend or acquaintance that they say, "Oh, he/she is just like __________ (fill in any Muppet of your choice)".

I think he has more personality than most of them. Besides who else has the guts to do the trumpet bit expecting God knows what.
