Too hard to pick just one, but it'd be one of these:

-"I Was Only Joking"
-"What Am I Gonna Do"
-"I Don't Want to Talk About It" (because anyone performing this song is pretty amazing)
-"Love Touch"

And honourable mentions to "The Motown Song," "Forever Young," and "You Wear It Well'

He had so many good ones, it's almost hard to narrow it down to just one
"Love Touch" is my favourite (Legal Eagles was awesome), but since it is absent from the poll, I will pick "Rhythm of My Heart"

Some Trivia:  Both "Rhythm of My Heart" and "Broken Arrow" were penned by Canucks 8)

Have I Told You Lately....specifically, the version he did on his MTV Unplugged.  He dedicated it to Rachel Stewart and he was breaking up in the middle of it.

The Motown Song is one of my faves

I chose Passion

but I like alot of his other stuff too.  I thought it was funny when they did the song "Tonight's the night" in Austin Powers first movie as almost an anthem to the Scottish nationality.

I agree; thus, it got my vote.

My second choice would be "Tonight I'm Yours".

"Some Guys Have All the Luck" - this is representative both of the slightly new wave and dance-inspired commercial MTV pop sound of the time, and of the common '80s comeback sound of older artists.

These are basically all of Rod Stewart's musical periods, imo:

'60s: Bluesy, party rock
1971-1977: alternating between singer-songwriter and classic rock
1978-1982: New Wave/disco rock
1983-1989/'90: MTV pop/rock era
1991-2001: "modern" Adult Contemporary
2002+: Standards era

That said, I like pretty much everything from "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" through the MTV Unplugged album.

"Do Ya Think I'm Sexy"

One of my favorite synth riffs.

Rod in top form!  That song epitomized the magic years of post-sexual revolution and pre-AIDS!

I missed out on 'em.  Too young.
:(

"Young Turks" was irresistably catchy, but the title was terrible.  I don't think it sold well in...Armenia!

oh, ya know I thought that one looked familiar.....I am downloading it as I'm posting this, I try to post songs mainly from the radio when I do these polls, but I'll miss one occasionally.....obviously this one was a hit that slipped by me, I'll add it
