It appears that there are a lot of people who remember the quote but not where it is from.
One suggestion I found is that it was said by Burt Reynolds in the 1996 movie Striptease. Not sure if this is true - it certainly doesn't appear on the imdb.com list of memorable quotes for that film.

I watched that movie while I was in the hospital, in labor...made me forget the pain of contractions. ;D
