Subject: Things you consider nostalgic right now

Written By: Stompgal on 05/01/11 at 1:42 pm

Since the end of last summer, I've been in a nostalgic phase. Here are some programmes I like to watch and things I like to eat from my childhood:

My Little Pony (original 1980s series)
Fireman Sam (original stop-motion version from the 80s and 90s)
Any Sooty programme with Matthew Corbett in it (again from the 80s and 90s)
The Powerpuff Girls (I used to watch it after school)
Monster Munch (bigger like they used to be)
Walls Mint Cornettos (give it to me!)
Cadbury Mini Eggs (everyone's favourite little Easter treat)

I consider TRL during the boy band and blonde pop star era in the late 90s early 00s nostalgic.  8)

I consider pretty much anything from the '90s and the early '00s to have nostalgic value to me, since I grew up during that time.

My Little Pony (original 1980s series)

Not merely nostalgic, but the 2010s reboot has gone viral.

Anything that was popular BEFORE the Internet became mainstream (1994-95). After that it's just too modern for me.

I like watching tv shows and listening to music from the 80's and 90's when I feel nostalgic.I grew up during both those decades and I will always love the pop culture from those times.
