Subject: The King Family

Does anyone (besides me) remember The King Family specials that used to be on t.v.? If so, does anyone know WHO they were besides just a family who decided to have specials on t.v.?

Well, it is quite apparent that I am the only one who remembers them. Oh well.

Those specials were great. The King Sisters were a vocal group that sang with the Alvino Ray Orchestra (one was married to Ray) during the forties. Very popular to the point that they and their extended families had those TV specials frequently during the sixties AND the King Cousins who were daughters of the King Sisters had a minor chart hit cover of the Beatles', "Good Day Sunshine"!

Well, at least I now know that I didn't dream that. I was starting to think that I was the only one who remember them.
