Present music is not a patch on the songs of the 60s and 70s.

    If what you mean is, if you took 60's & 70's songs together with today's , they wouldn't go together well, I'll have to say I agree with you.

Oh...no, of course not. But, in today's world of sampling, anything with a beat is fair game. Back then, people ataully PLAYED the music...today, people can just sample one piece of the song, and make a whole new album off of it. The creativity has been lost in the machine :P
