Subject: Astroboy
When I read that thread about Gigantor it got me to thinking about old cartoons I remembered as a kid and Astroboy came to mind. I'll never forget that little bwop, bwop, bwop noise he used to make when he walked.
About five years ago I was in a Mediaplay store and I saw an Astroboy T-shirt for sale. I kick myself now for not buying it.

8) 8) 8) 8) 8)I wish the Cartoon Network or somew other netrwork wopuld show it--that and "Kimba the White Lion""Ribon no Kishi"and "Speed racer",although admittedly the modern version is better animated and has better plotlines.In the old "Speed Racer',they tried a little too hard to make the English translation synch with the fast moving lips of the characters,resulting in the samne words being repeated very qucckly several times in succession.Also I wouldn't mind seeing the original Japanese version with English subtitles--it was 'cleaned-up'for English-speaking audiences.Cheers! :P
