I went to imdb.com and found out he was born in 1920, which makes him 83. But it said that his birthday was March 3rd. Which one is correct, the 3rd or the 26th?

oh whoa wait a minute, that was James Doohan! Leonard Nimoy is the guy. He was born in 1931, which makes him 72.
