I don't know, but I sure used to race to the T.V. when I'd hear The Flying Nun theme music. I loved My Mother The Car, too.  A bunch of us did.8)

I love the 50's show called Circus Boy. If you don't know this show, Micky Dolenz starred in it as Corky.

Anyone remember the CBS Storybook Specials on Saturday afternoons? My favorite episode was the movie "J.T." based on the book of the same name. A young boy living in the New York City area finds a tiny kitten and takes care of him without his mom knowing, because the family was poor  and could not afford a pet. The kid found ways to keep JT fed,and one time he got in trouble for charging a can of tuna-for the kitten-to his family's tab. Needless to say, local bullies get hold of this boy's kitten, killing him by tossing it in front of a passing car. The grocer sees what happened, and later in the movie,he finds the boy another kitty that looks like JT,and offers free food for the little one. Sadly, the movie has never been shown again, although it teaches a valuable lesson that love sometimes comes in small packages, and also the need to be kind rather than cruel to animals! I think it would be cool if Animal Planet aired it!!

It was Jethro who was so dumb he was funny. Remember when Shorty talked Jethro into letting him out of the cage and taking his place, pretty funny.

Lt. Hanley was my hero in Combat.

add to my list a local kids' show called PIXANNE,with the main character of the same name, and another kids' ICON in my area,SALLY STARR! And I still remember Combat's opening having a LOT of bang and BOOMS for the buck! Combat was so cool, why it is not on cable anymore I don't know. I personally think the History Channel should show Combat and the Vietnam drama TOUR OF DUTY.I'd like to see all the episodes of Combat come out on home video,I'd buy it!!
