Hi, Cat ! Yes. Our football team was always playing those high schools, I believe. The Goldbacks. I didn't pay attention to it back than, though.
N.F.A. was great but do you remember the riots of the mid-late 70s ?
I liked the planetarium and the ridge preserve near the school.Cool memories !

I wasn't living in that area during the mid 70s. I moved back there in 1978-9. I think I remember hearing about them but I don't quite remember. The only think I remember at Beacon was a walkout. Students were protesting something-I think they got zeros if they missed 3 classes or something like that. I can't quite remember. I wasn't a part of it.

But here's the school I went to up until Junior year: http://www.montrosechristian.org/ ::) I truly hated this school.
Both of these websites are so crappy, it's embarrasing >:(

Grady is in Atlanta and we had the best high school anywhere. Our teams kicked heinys and, no offence, but would have certainly creamed any team(s) from Brooklyn.
