Subject: seeking thorough catalog for 50s cartoons

Written By: sinclair on 10/26/03 at 04:50 p.m.

Any and all info leading to having a hands-on take w/ an animated serial shown on WNAC TV Boston Ch7 in the '50s.
The particular one I have sought without success is about a boy traveling through the solar system seeking his dad.  Fab drawing and good facts on what's encountered by the characters.  Have been all over the net seeking this one - it is responsible for me being here!
Many other questions as to cartoons not shown any more that have to be archived somehwere....any ideas?
It is a world lost.  I look at the stuff on the tube today and feel lucky to have had such dynamic and varied stuff shown when broadcasting was in its infancy.  Whaaaaaaaaa.

Could've been Astro Boy.  That's the only 50s space cartoon I know that could've been anime.

EDIT:  Actuaylly, I think it was from the 60s and Japan only. :-[  Gee, guess you learn something new everyday :-)
