Anybody catch Combat yesterday, there was a marathon of shows?  What a great show, kind of like a soap opera with Shecky Greene, Rick Jason (check resemblence to Jude Law), Vic Morrow, and lots of guest stars.  Great war strories in black and white. Comments, info?

Excellent show! I'm surprised they're still doing re-runs. What network? It's nice to see someone else who not only remembers, but enjoys the show. :)

Didn't see it as I live in the wrong part of the world.

But used to enjoy it a lot when it was on here !  :D

Combat comes on a cable station called, Encore Action.  Anyway, I was flipping through the channels on Veteran's Day, and that's when I saw the Combat marathon, commercial free, it was great.  Funniest line by Keenan Wynn (a major) in referring to Shecky Green (playing Private Braddock who had been impersonating an officer after being captured by the Germans), "Did the guy have a long jaw and dumb look?"  See http://www.jodavidsmeyer.com/combat/main.html
