Are you talking about the town in NY? Yes, I have been several times. I worked on a play there at the Woodstock Playhouse back in the dark ages. It is a quant little town with lots of artists. Are you talking about the town in VT. Yes, I have been several times. It is a quant little town with lots of artists. (Daja vu all over again). Are you talking about the concert in 1969? No. Btw, the concert was not in the town. It was supposed to be but the town didn't want it there so they moved it to Bethel, NY but kept the name.

The best concert ever in Woodstock, NY, was John Cage's
4' 33" as performed by David Tudor on 8/29/52 as a benefit for the "Artists Welfare Fund."

"Good people of Woodstock, let's run these people out of town."
--Overheard at the premier of 4' 33"
