Subject: do any of you remember the NBC Peacock?If not,what color symbol do you remember?

I LOVE the old NBC Peacock,does anyone else here have fond memories of him(it's a male)?Why did NBC dump him for that awful 'N' symbol? I'm glad the peacock is back,although in an altered form. By the way,the six feathers in it's tail stand for the six divisions of NBC,if I remember them,I'll post them here.

Now for NBC they use the bong sound instead of the pround as a peacock!

Thanks, Cat...they featured that during the last Super Bowl NBC did...1998's Super Bowl 32...which my Broncos won btw ;)

I knew about that website for a while. Yeah it's cool,the guy who runs it works in broadcasting. He also has stuff on there about the history of color TV,videotape,and the RCA TK-41 color TV camera he restored and has in his living room!
