Mr Dolenz was my favourite! He wrote some of my favourite songs too.

Without a doubt the best would have to be Micky!  He's the best Monkee!

Mickey was my favorite lead singer for the Monkees.  I, also, met Davey but he was not a Monkee then.  In fact, he was on Broadway playing the part of the Artful Dodger in Oliver.

Mike did a song named "Don't Call On Me" with The Monkees which made quite the impact in its day because he changed his vocal sound ever-so-slightly for it. It's a very good ballad, IMO.

my friend won tickets to the monkeys show about 12 yrs ago and it included a pool party anyway she gave the tickets to me, it was all good but the thrill was gone by then if ya feel me :-\

I thought that Davey was the cutest, but Mickey had the better voice.

He also had this great song out in November 1970 called "Silver Moon." It had this wonderful winding/haunting melody.

And of course he also did the cult classic: Lucy and Ramona and Sunset Sam in the late 70s.

But of course I must pick Davey, 'cus his voice just gives me chills... oh, wait, that was someone who sounds just like Davey.... ;)

"Cuddly Toy" is a great example of Davey's abilities. Listen to the double entendre' 8) and the clever way the entire song is written not to metion it is just a well produced song.  The harmony is superb for that era and the video was great!

I chose Davy because I think I did a very good job. Although Peter, Micky and Mike were very good too and they still are.

"do I have to do this all over again" is an awesome song by Peter. It's on the "Head" soundtrack.

I think as far as best singer, I'd have to say that vocal wise, Micky Dolenz has the best voice. Even though, overall he was probably my least favorite Monkee when looking at other stuff like instrumental talent, acting, looks, etc.. But he DID have one heck of a voice and was their best lead vocalist.

Davey but Mickey comes a close second!

I heard that song on the Super Groovy 70's show - a nice ballad with a country western feel.  Mike's voice in full swing.

I suppose Micky is my favorite Monkees voice.  But if you ask me who my favorite Monkee was, well...    ;)
