This is very hard for me because I LOVE Sam Cooke. There are three that I really love. Cupid, Wonderful World and he did a wonderful randition of Gershwin's Summertime.

Other: 'Shake'/'A Change Is Gonna Come' - a posthumous release featuring an out-and-out belter on one side, and one of Soul music's first ever 'protest' songs on the other...magnificent...

A Change is Gonna Come - great song. Mellow in its angst. Powerful nonetheless.
Chain Gang - makes you think being on one is the finest thing coming.
Overall great voice, great talent. Gone too soon. :\'(

For me it's a toss up between "You Send Me" and "Wonderful World."

I chose "Chain Gang" because it was my first favorite of his and my brother and I use to sing it a lot. I actually own his Greatest Hits CD. Another great song by him is "Frankie & Johnny"
