1960's?  I guess Snow White and the 7, that one had an intensely erotic appeal to it. Since then? The Lion King by far.

Dumbo and Pinnocchio, were the two best animated features. This was the Golden age of Disney (the WWII period), and interestingly work of both sort of overlapped. Pinnocchio for the story but mainly for its animation - it is better than most cartoons you see today. Dumbo...an original story (as far as I know?) is both a tearjerker and heartwarming in its sheer simplicity.

we were just talking about that...Dumbo talk about psychedelic....a 'quote myself quote" used often "My mother was a lady and my father was a tramp..." so guess the cartoon hit me on a personal level; 101 Dalmations was fun too. What little girl doesn't like Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty....gee, real hard to pick a fav.

"The Aristocats" is actually from 1970, but that's close to being 60's!

Peter Pan
Cinderella
Sleeping Bueaty
The Jungle Book
Lady & The Tramp

I think I mainly liked the music from the cartoons.  I'm singing the song from Cinderella as I type this:

Cinderelly Cinderelly
night and day it's Cinderelly
Make the fire, fix the breakfast
Wash the dishes, do the mopping

I'm still going for 'The Three Caballeros' even though it's a movie with short features in it. (Disney made a few after Bambi and before Cinderella.)
