IMO, Nancy Sinatra was far worse... :P
And did critics comparedl Tiffany & 'Debbie' Gibson to Leslie Gore when they came on the scene in 1987?
Like how critics compared them to some current singers like B.S...

Leslie Gore was a good pop singer for her time, so I can't agree with you. Being that Nancy only had one good hit, I didn't think it was bad either. So I would've neither, if given the option.

It seems to me like Leslie Gore's songs are mostly "Poor me, I've been dumped by my boyfriend, I'll go bawl my eyes out now.." At least Nancy Sinatra was not a big whining crybaby like Leslie Gore was in her songs.

Nancy Sinatra. She had only one song that I liked, whereas Lesley Gore had quite a few songs that I REALLY like.
