Dracula with Bela Lugosi
I don't think of this as a "horror" film. I think of it as a comedy. Everytime I watch it, I can't help but laugh. But it is a GREAT flick and I love it.

Horror Hotel (also known as City Of The Dead)
The rolling fog & the shadows from the fireplace on the walls of the Raven's Inn are brilliant in Black & White.

I don't know you could consider this a horror movie (it was more of a suspense thriller), but the original "Manchurian Candidate" (1962) is one of my all-time favorites.

The movie came out in the 30s it's a classic, it was probably pretty scary for it's time, Lugosi's Dracula is the most imitated

Have you seen the remake from 1999? They've been airing it on TBS lately and I watched it mainly because one of my favorite actors, Owen Wilson, was in it.

Night of the Living Dead...a classic film ahead of it's time, a movie that was made by amateur film makers that set new standards for scaring the life out of you. I first saw that movie in the Union drive-in with a girl who was so scared that she crying for me to take her home home, me I was to macho to admit that it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck, it was so different from all the horror made up to that time, my imagination spooked me for some time afterwards.
