I'm not sure when this show began. They had a funny creature on a spring that would bounce up and down and a really shaggy old dog. A must see for anyone on acid.

I was brought up on the TV version of Magic Roundabout, Dylan the rabbit was my then favourite!

Essential viewing for anyone over the age of 30...!

It was the last bit of kiddies' programming before the big bad news came on and what made it essential was Eric Thompson's fantastic narration (apparently he tried to translate the original French scripts, but gave up and concocted his own storylines...)

Ironically, despite being a very 'colourful' show, it was only shown in black and white when first broadcast in 1965...the UK had no colour TV service until '67...

You shouldn't have started me off...I'd go on about the merits of 'Parsley The Lion' and the Holy Trinity of 'Camberwick Green', 'Trumpton' and 'Chigley' (with the voice of God that is Brian Cant...)

Film or TV Series?

Now, I assumed TV series (the original) when I saw the sign outside Woolworths but it could be the film I suppose
