Anyone else excited about the pending release of Leave It To Beaver on DVD? I am escpecially happy to hear the set will include the rarely aired original pilot "It's a Small World starring" Max Showalter as Ward Cleaver , Paul Sullivan as Wally Cleaver & Richard Deacon (Fred Rutherford) as Mr Baxter....
Now if they would just get off their arses and release my other two favorite shows from the 50's/ 60's Donna Reed and My Three Sons!!!!!

Myself personaly can't wait. I saw beaver (Jerry Mathers) the other day on an old Bewitched episode. I have him with his first apearence on an old Ozzie and Harriet show. Now thers a show I'd love to be completely issued on DVD's. The last DVD boxed set was minimal and sporadic, jumped all over and the quality wasn't too good.

ya, I'm a Beaver fan too.
don't recall the pilot episode at all tho.
I'd definately go for an Ozzie & Harriet set too.
but the last few seasons, not so much.

I also am a fan of the show. Wally was always my favorite character.

I wasn't aware that LITB was coming out on DVD. Thanks for the update. I have the pilot on VHS as it was aired a couple of years back. Now if Wings would only come out on DVD, my life would be complete.
