Ive just heard a report that Wilson Pickett has died from a heart attack at the age of 64.
I will try and find a link for this because nothing has come up in the news here yet.
I liked Wilson Pickett.
The land of 1000 dances, Midnight hour and Mustang Sally were some of his better known hits.
RIP Wilson, your music will live on in our hearts and our memories.

Just ran across this and saw no one mentioned the movie The Commitments, with is homage to Wilson. Worth owning.
