Subject: Classic Sesame Street to come out in DVD box set

Since the show began in '69, I figured I can post it here.
Anyway, yes, FINALLY after so many requests of diehard SS fans to Sesame Workshop, our voices have been heard. There will be a DVD of the classic episodes coming out hopefully in October of '06.
This will be great for those who have kids or those of us who want to revisit our childhood memories of the '69 and early 70s skits.
Truly a great show, 37 years old and good to see it's still going strong!

OMG...this is awesome! There are so many times when I sit down and watch it with my 4 year old, that I wish they would show some of the classic episodes that I grew up watching. That will be so great!! :)

Of course, you can watch some of the classic clips on Youtube.com, but it will be great to get to OWN them once out. Hopefully that will be the release date if all goes according to plan.
