He fit right in with the hippy movement, I don't think he was an extraordinary musician either and I thought his music was a little to "Sweet".

I have the Best of Donovan on CD.

I like his folky style :)

I saw Donovan way back in Mellow Yellow Days.  "Catch the Wind" still makes me catch my breath

I like him. But when I saw him live for the only time (1976 at Rich Stadium where the Buffalo Bills now play), he did not play "Season of the Witch"; much to my disappointment.......................

Donovan's cool - although I really only know his hits.  It seems like when he was popular, he was the man of the hour.

My favorites are probably "Mellow Yellow", "Jennifer Juniper", "Wear Your Love Like Heaven" and "Atlantis".  "Sunshine Superman" is okay but I hear it a bit too much.

if you listen, you will hear he is a great guitar player..
his songs are are cool for sure..Sunshine Superman can stand with the best classics
