He is a cornerstone in the foundation of Rock n Roll. Like early Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard were the the founding fathers that gave Rock n Roll it's identity separating it's sound from anything else that was being recorded already.

MaxwellSmart, the real words of the title are "Tutti Frutti Loose Booty", they were changed to "aw rooty" for it to be played on the radio.

Hi Marian, booty is an old reference and even the words rock and roll are old words refering to having sex. Old slang sex words that been around forever.
Al-B is right on, Little Richard did kick booty!

♦ He was born the same day as me LOL (different years of course)
♦ His last ever chart appearance in the US Hot 100 was the song 'Great Gosh Amighty' in 1986 from the Motion Picture "Down and Out in Beverly Hills". The song, though missing the UK and US Top 40 was his final Top 40 hit in Canada
