The events inspired Francis Scott Key to write a poem, titled "Defence of Fort McHenry". Some of you Americans might actually know the words to that poem by heart... ::) ;)

Not that it was FSK's melody, but it still proves a bit of a problem for some when it comes to singing it - starts off okay, but then these high notes start appearing!
