Some good songs that year.  I wish I had official charts for Canada, but apart from local radio charts, our then official chart did not begin until 1965.

A relic from a bygone and decidedly un-PC age - 'The Black And White Minstrel Show'...!

I like Helen Shapiro. She had a very distinct voice.

A bit confusing...you had her sounding like a young man and Del Shannon sounding like a woman!

Dear ol' Nana recorded this in every conceivable language...

A monster hit on the continent, it failed to make the British listings but kept shifting enough copies to justify being kept on catalogue...

I think it finally got deleted nearly two decades later!  :P
