This poll will probably be a familiar selection of songs for our International members, but this quartet did not go completely ignored in North America ...

Break Out.  Simply wonderful.  I could listen to it all day!

I just did a bit more research on this quartet, and learned that within the Top 100 best selling songs in Canada for 1968, Zabadak peaked at #9 and The Legend of Xanadu made #94

The British Invasion of the 60s:  A fantastic time for music indeed.  I must make myself a collection for my mp3 player

The only song I even know is Legend of Xanadu. So I voted for it yesterday.  I was too young in 1966 and 1968 to know who they were.

Can I vote for all of them?

Unfairly classified as 'teen fodder', but they made some wonderfully original singles...

They were quite big on mainland Europe too, especially Germany...

Probably the equivalent to our American friends as Paul Revere & The Raiders were to us Brits (minus the uniforms!)

Not sure if the band's still going, as Dave Dee passed away some years ago...

Never realized they had so many songs.

Why isn't there an "Other" option? ???

Is there a song you had in mind, Henk?

Can't quite remember if I voted on this or not, I probably did! 'Legend Of Xanadu' is the one I could listen to over and over - more action in that three minutes than some acts could cram into their entire careers!
