Nancy Sinatra's version is even better. It came from her How Does That Grab You? album, and while it wasn't a hit single, it brilliantly employs just an electric guitar with heavy vibrato as accompaniment to Sinatra's charismatic-as-ever vocals, heightening the track's somber mood to greater heights than ever.
