Here's a really fascinating "man on the street" interview video where people are asked their thoughts on long skirts versus short skirts.  ::)

Look how well-dressed and polished people looked, and they talked slower and enunciated more. I wonder if it was because they were being interviewed, or if people really did talk that way back then.
