I just remembered a few from the mid-1960s. James Bond was the big one, along with the Beatles, Batman, and Star Trek.

There was a fad in the late 1950's where college students would see how many people they could stuff into phone booths. ;D

All I know is that many of those guys in the phone booth would have been grievously injured if one of them was suddenly stricken with the uncontrollable urge to pass gas. :o :o :o

I think the late 1950s were mostly dominated by Elvis, while the early 1960s were dominated by Westerns.
