Subject: Warning messages on albums?
Written By: ChuckyG on 10/03/07 at 4:13 pm
I know most albums have one of those stupid "explicit lyrics" stickers on them, but I'm thinking of a section for listing albums with warnings other than that. For instance, on the Jesus Jones album "Doubt" there's a warning that some tracks played at a high volume may damage speakers. The Information Society had an album with a warning on it too, because of a modem recording as a hidden track.

I think Styx's "Kilroy Was Here" jokingly warned of "secret messages" imbedded on the LP.
There was a parody of the explicit lyrics sticker on "Frank Zappa Meets The Mothers Of Prevention".
Two albums by Peter Schickele/P.D.Q. Bach on Telarc warn of ultra-realistic sound effects that could cause damage to speakers. ;D
