Subject: I was thinking of making a YouTube misheard lyrics video

Written By: ChuckyG on 10/25/07 at 9:46 am

I've seen stuff with text and pictures that is timed like a PowerPoint presentation... I was thinking of something similar

what do people use to create stuff like that?

Anyone want to help me make a misheard lyrics version of "Tiny Dancer"?

The idea here is to promote the book (and the site)

maybe we could have a parody author even sing the misheard version (or better, a couple of them, like a bunch of drunken frat boys, or like that seen in Almost Famous)

so I ran through it quickly... and there aren't any misheard lyrics for one entire verse >bummer<

but I think a shorter parody would be better anyways, since he just repeats the first verse and chorus for the last half of the song anyways.  Plus the version I have is 6 minutes long... yuck.

Blue jean baben, L.A. Laden, Seamstress for 'the man'.
Pretty eyes, pirate's mine, You merry music man
Janet Reno, you must have seen her, Dancin' innocent.
And now she's in me, always with me, Tiny dancer in my head

Jesus reeks, out in the street
Handing tickets out for gum.
Turning back she just laughs
The bowl of lard is not that bad

Climb on my hand, he makes her stand
In the auditorium
Looking back, she seeks his b****
The words she knows the tune she hums

Hold me closer Tony Danza
Count her head lice on the highway
Lay me down in sheets with Lenin
She had a president today

Something like "Hold Me Closer, Tony Danza"?

If you want to rewrite some lines, let me know. Or, if you want to do something else entirely, that's cool, too.

I use a variety of software for that; a Google search and some antivirus scanning (you might encounter some malware-ridden stuff in your search) will do...
