Subject: Would A SpellChecker Be Possible???

Written By: Hairspray on 05/23/02 at 03:48 p.m.

I need a break from editing my posts for spelling reasons.  :P

It sounds crazy, but spelling errors escape me even in the preview screen!  :o

Wait...

I'm posting another post because I didn't want you to think I had another spelling error, this time particularly. What I have are not so much spelling errors as they are typos.

Most definitely. I always need help with my spelling. Especially when it's late and I'm at work. Even things that are spelled correctly look wrong!

Well, I have to admit that I'm pretty good at looking at my post to see if I've got a spelling mistake anyway. As for others, though, I don't know, you could copy and paste in Word and back. I suppose that'd only help the guests who can't edit their posts, though.

But you're the man. (insert inevitable simpsons quote) "Which makes me the woman. And I have no interest in that, besides occasionally wearing the underwear, which, as we discussed, is strictly a comfort thing"

I know some other people that type so fast, with so few errors, that when they do make an error, they realise, because something felt wrong when typing it. Or they just pass it by because they feel like it. On other boards, especially, and the unmoderated.

A spell checker would be nice. I have dyslexic typing fingers!  ::)
