How do you post pics in the message threads and add your own photo/pic to the personal profile?

Adding a pic to a personal profile:
Click onto your name when you're in the online list.
Click Modify
When you get to the Personal Picture section (mine currently has a picture of Homer Simpson) click to No Pic, then tick-check the box that says I have my own pic.
Enter the URL, in the I have my own pic box. (I think it has to be preceded by the http:// .
Click Change Profile. And you're done.
