Subject: Help !  It's gone all big !

Written By: FussBudget on 03/28/03 at 00:30 a.m.

This is possibly the most ridiciulous problem I have ever had on this PC...

The other night, I had a few sessions of the baord open, when all of a sudden, I noticed that the Individual Messaging session's screen had suddnly incresed in size, font-wise.

It looked as if I had changed the screen resolution on the whole PC to a smaller setting, but I hadn't.  The other sessions were unaffected.

I tried closing it down and re-opening it, same problem.  I tried opening other forums as a separate session, but they were okay.

Now today, (the first time I have been on the board at home since then), ALL my Messageboard sessions are large.  Nothing else on the PC is affected.  No other Internet sessions have this issue.

I have tried changing the display settings up and down to see if I could somehow reset it - no luck  :'(

Any bright ideas how I can resolve this problem ?  Anyone ?  Anyone ?

Has this happened to anyone else ?

FB  ??? ??? ???

In your browser menu, select View -> Text Size and select normal.. since I don't use fixed font sizes, they're adjustable..

Do you have the scroller on your mouse?  What you do is press Control, and then scroll back and forth until you find the size you want.  That's how it works on mine anyway... I do it all the time, just by hitting the wrong keys while using the mouse, etc.

I'm constantly changing my text size by accident.  It usually means my mouse has gone wonky, and it's time to clean out the cat hairs from the works.  I'm buying one of those infrared-sensor ones soon...no more cat hairs clogging stuff up.

And Fuss, I gotta agree with Lester...how is it a problem if it's bigger?  ;) ;) ;D 8) :-

It's all a relative thing Lester, we aren't all 6'5" and enjoy the associated benefits that come with that you know, hee hee !  :P   :-/

Thank you all for the advice and yes, I have a recollection of pressing (I think it was) F9 instead of F5 to refresh and thinking "I wonder what that does"  ??? ::) ::) ::)
