Subject: Any way to edit "Real Lyrics" section?

Written By: sXe_LeXi_5X2 on 06/27/03 at 09:55 p.m.

Is there any way to edit the "Real Lyrics section" as there is with the misheard lyrics archive?  Sometimes I see that people posted lyrics as being by the wrong artist.  Also, I think that some people who submit inappropriate lyrics should really have them in the nonsensical section or vice versa.  Anyone else think this or have an idea of how to fix this problem?   ???

Hi!  I'm the editor for the pages in the "real lyrics" section (except "dumb lyrics") and I usually change the artist name or band name if it's incorrect, but of course I don't know EVERY song and artist so some of them I don't catch as being wrong.  I am not aware of a correction form for this section, maybe if you e-Mail ChuckyG (webmaster) or send him a message, he will fix them... but no, I am not aware of any form or way to change the content on the pages (and I don't have the ability to do this either)

As for content you think that are in the wrong sections, I can't move people's entries from section to section, sorry.  :-/

Hope this helped.  And, keep submitting.  ;)

Thanks for the info!  There is one submission located in the "Inappropriate Lyrics" section under Faith Hill that I definitely know is wrong.  The song "There Is No Arizona" is not by Faith, it's by Jamie O'Neal.

Hmm, well that one was there before I started editing, because I think I remember seeing that one long ago and I definitely would have caught that.  Sometime I might make a list of band/artist corrections to be made.

They probably got it confused with the musical, which I think is from the 50s.  (I could be wrong on this though)  You're looking at the misheard lyrics page though.  That isn't my department, sorry.
