Subject: Slow Server?
I've been having lots of trouble getting into Amiright and the this messageboard, the past few days. Are you getting lots of hits? or... are people staying online for a longer time?

the site is just overworked... part of the problem, is the messageboard software is just not effective with huge numbers of posts in the archives, and it tends to drag the system down. The new software will solve that. It'll probably be up by April if I have my way. I may have located someone who can help with some of my problems with the new server, which will hopefully speed up the process of moving to a new board.

I notice that too...for a long time today (Saturday) it was down; maybe it has problems; it's anyone's guess as far as I know. ::)

The other night I was logged in and tried to go somewhere but it took forever; so I decided to logout, but couldn't do that either! As a result, I was "logged in" until I could go back on and log out properly. A similar thing happened yesterday.
