K1chyd wrote an excellent FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) for amiright (with a focus on parodies). Would someone like to write a FAQ or newbie guide for the messageboard?

I think the way K1ychd ran the amiright FAQ worked best. Start a thread, and ask people what questions they have, or had when they first signed up, and I'll respond to them (or anyone else who knows the answer).

I hate to be such a Noob but has there been a FAQ posted for this site yet? The major reason why I'm asking is that I would like to know what the ranking levels are here and if there are different privilages gained by them like GameFAQ's?

To answer your question. NO! It just means how many posts you have made. So someone who has 1 post has the same "privilages" as someone who has 10,000.

I resub,it the question because I just added another star and I don't know what all the names mean except for bud ice penguin. So what are the number of posts needed for each star and what do the names mean? I know that it's not really important but considering that Karma and championship badges are displayed..

The first level is up to 50 posts. Then it's 500 posts, a 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 I think after that. The various names are of different penguin characters. The exact reason for this is lost in time!! (but is rumoured to be because penguins want to take over the world)

You can't choose. You get each title when you reach said number of posts
