Subject: Call For Questions {To Be Included In The FAQ}

Well, we're creating an inthe00s FAQ for our beloved N00Bs. See the FAQ board for a good explanation. Anything, anyone?

Another question often asked is what the penguin ranking system is (i.e.names for the different levels).

There are one or two things about the board that I either found out accidently or some mentioned in a post but I haven't seen questions on them.  Nor can I think of how to word the questions.

e.g.  if you click on 'new' by a thread it takes you to the last place you were reading.  if you click on the icon on the right of 'last person to post on this thread' it takes you to the very last post.  on the front page clicking on the little arrow near a sub section 'rolls' that bit away out of sight (this I only found out yesterday!!)

I still don't know how to do that.  :-[

Inserting pics is another question, not just for avatars but also attactments and posting pics from another website.

I may as well answer the "link title" question:

For a link http://www.inthe00s.com you write the link out like this:

This text is made into a link that goes to InThe00s

and it comes out like this:

This text is made into a link that goes to InThe00s

more questions that I know the answer to now but wondered about in the past.

how do you delete a thread you created?

how do you edit a post?

how do I get lots of options when posting a poll?

how do people post in bold, italics etc.  I've tried to do it but just get in my post.

If you work the questions and answers into a logical order and post them in a new thread.  Make it a sticky thread and put it in Lend A Wing I reckon.

Well, as of late I've seen alot of people ask how you can tell what people are doing while they're on the boards.

But maybe we should keep that a little known secret. ;)

How do you put someone on ignore?  I've looked for the ignore button but I can't seem to find it?  Chucky said there's one.  There are certain people I would like to put on ignore so I can have a pleasant time here.  :D

That's only for Personal Messages.  Somewhere in your profile (or possibly your Inbox) there's an option to Ignore a particular member.  Unfortunately you would still have to see any posts they made on the board if that's what you were hoping!
