DOES NOT WORK IN INTERNET EXPLORER!!!! or Opera.
Firefox or Safari and some of the Linux browsers (no one uses those do they?)

It's called AJAX IM, it uses advanced browser functionality (Javascript, DHTML, etc) and doesn't require you to install software on your computer to use.
That is, if it's properly configured. I need a few volunteers to try testing it so I know. If you don't see anyone right away, just hang around and wait.

I have Internet Explorer... so it wouldn't let me in. The only other browser I have on my computer is Netscape.. I'll try that and see if it works.
Modified to add: my netscape won't even let me onto inthe00s.com. as soon as i go to this site and the page starts to load, i get the infamous "illegal operation and needs to shut down" error.
Should I try deleting my netscape and downloading a new one?? I've had this computer for a few years and I had never used netscape before today. I tried upgrading, not sure if it upgraded correctly though. :-\\

Hmmm.. I'm a Firefox man and i couldn't get in, no matter what i entered it said Invalid username/password.

I'm in now.. not sure what the first problem was. Nobody else in there so i can't really tell you how it works. I'll keep it open and see if anybody logs in.

you need to create a new account, your username/password doesn't work from here.
Odyssey: Netscape is ancient history. Uninstall it and try Firefox

Yup, took me a minute to come to that conclusion.
Yeah Andrea, firefox is outstanding, it beats the pants of IE any day of the week.

I have been there a few times but no one has been there when I am there. :\'( I also noticed that when I have it a window open to it, everything else is slow-it is like my typing is sticking.

You mean we have to type in buddies just to see if they're there? I was just on there using Firefox. I go by Adagio on there.

but you need to know the name people picked. It works less like a chat room, and more like an IM messenger. It will save your buddy list.
