I'm going to perform a software upgrade, which is an even bigger upgrade than the last one. This one requires significant SQL modifications, so it will take a very long time to convert all the tables.
So to be safe, I'll take the site offline until the upgrade is completed. It will probably be a few hours.
The chat room will remain available during the upgrade, as will the other sites I run (inthe70s,80s,90s amiright.com worcestermass.com etc)

Excuse me, Chucky, but I think you may have put the wrong month.
DId you mean December 30th?
Because JANUARY 30th will be a monday, and that's a month away.
