I'm sure everyone is aware that we have been hit with a rash of spammers. I am doing my best to keep on top of it. As soon as I see one, they are GONE! However, if I don't get to them before you see them, if they have links in their posts
DO NOT CLICK ON THEM!
By clicking on those links your computer COULD be infected with malware.

Some of these users, which are likely bots, even have potentially harmful links in their own profiles, such as in their sig lines and stuff. I NEVER click on those.

Done-ded. This weirdo sent me an unsolicited one too and I got rid of it. (I assume you're speaking of 'Lordroel'.)

I also added him to my "ignore" list and he will stay there until his account is deleted. (Then all traces of him would be gone.)

One more thing: When a spammer starts a thread DO NOT REPLY!   By replying, it makes it harder to delete said thread. I must then delete every post in that thread before I can get rid of the thread.

I remove spammers posts via their profile-that way I don't have to go all over the board searching for their posts-they are all right there. But, when someone posts on a thread, I have to go to the thread to remove it. It still makes my job harder by having to go to those threads rather than just deleting all the posts for the profile.
