I almost figured it out, the best I could do is 16, I left a stinking crumb. >:(

It took about 20 tries, but I finally did it in 15 bites.
Edit: There are at least two ways to solve this with 15 bites.

I've got 16 down to a science but can go no further. The best I get is 99.8% of the pie
eaten in 15 bites. This game reminds of the game I used to see down the shore, you had
to completely cover a red circle with 5 smaller disc. It can be done but you have to overlap
the radii in the right place.
