Project X - The Trilaterial files

Promising both humanity's destruction and salvation, Project X was developed by the world's most gifted minds. Before it's grand unveiling a dangerous band of soldiers for hire, called Redsector 5, took the prototype as well as taking the scientists involved hostage. The UN sent in Rainbow 6 in a failed rescue mission that ended in a complete elimination of the team.  Now 3 organizations, each with their own agenda, have set their sights on recovering project X. The key is a special FBI agent of a secret division called "MIST". Now three elite teams must now face a highly skilled enemy as well as each other. The three organizations and their leaders include:

Philanthropy: A private organization that believes that the only way to protect the world is to destroy project X. Philanthropy is made up of the legendary Solid Snake, a man who has learned to take everything in stride. Snake's approach is to use special equipment to inflitrate his way into anywhere. His partners also include Octacon, a computer expert who will often go against Teresa Lipan of the IPCA. He is backed up by Former Foxhound operative codename Raiden and Meryl Silverburg.

IPCA: A "blackbox" organization within the US Government under direct control of the President. The lead operative is Gabe Logan, a man driven by the desire to expose the secrets of project X to the world, and thus ensure that it will benefit all of mankind.  Gabe is a master of weapons for all situations and is occasionally assisted in the field by a team of agents including Lian Xing, Teresa Lipan, and Gary Stone, a double agent who is none else than Snake's former commander, Col.Campbell.

NSA's "Third Echelon": A cold professional, Sam Fisher is a lone operative who lurks in the shadows, aided by a NSA support team. It is during the chaos of a climatic battle between the members of Philanthropy and the IPCA, that Sam sweeps in from the darkness to steal project X. Without warning his efforts are in vain, as he accidentally delivers the package to the leader of Redsector 5. Now Snake, Gabe, and Sam must join forces to fight the true enemy to save humanity- EVE!
