Does anyone know what the very first "LIVE" rock album was? I'm thinking Kiss did it first but I may be wrong. Peter Frampton maybe?

What a question!  I'd like to know the answer.  Actually, this probably isn't the first and we can work our way back as
people recall, but I believe Woodstock the live album was out before Frampton.

I know my father has live albums that predate woodstock. Like Ray Charles or the supremes or so.  I think live albums may go back to Jazz.

Judy Garland's top selling album, recorded live at her Carnegie Hall concert on April 23, 1961, is still considered by many to be the greatest night ever in the history of show business!
