I found this website through Google searches relating to my nostalgia for the 2000s as in many ways they feel so recent and I hadn't really realised how far away they were getting until a couple of years ago.

But I could never quite figure out what this website was actually for.

I read the history of this website and it began as a 80s nostalgia board, but then it became a general nostalgia forum along with fun activities and discussions.

That's an interesting history. I also note that a lot of the users seem to have an interest in children's television and other child activities, for instance I notice the Disney channel mentioned often. Does anyone here have any adult interests :P

Actually it's been inthe00s since early 2002 I believe. Before that I believe there were just the separate decade sites with separate forums for each? I remember the very end of the old board before April 2004 and even made a couple posts back then (around March 2004). It was the same inthe00s board as now just different software and there were less separate forums back then.

Yeah I think it was down a few weeks at the time, I actually remember it being down. Then the new forums came up. They added some extra forums around 2007 or so, then a bit later (circa 2011 maybe?) the software was slightly updated with a bit of a more modern look that we still have today.
